Western Wedding in Glacier National Park

Planning, designing and photographing Kirsten & Mike's western wedding in Glacier National Park wedding is a DREAM!!! Yes. All caps. It's appropriate. After seeing Kirsten so many times and planning her wedding, it's a joy to finally see her in person! From day one, she has a very specific vision how she wants her wedding to feel. She wants her guests to have a once-in-a-lifetime Montana wedding experience. Having a small, intimate wedding without the pomp and circumstance is so important to her.

K&M crave a small wedding and finding the perfect venue is how we start the planning process. That perfect venue is Paddle Ridge, located just minutes outside of Glacier National Park. The mountain views are stellar, the pavilion is perfect for the late night dancing, and it's the perfect size for their small guest count. Their wedding dinner is outside under the Montana big sky with twinkle lights above them. It's just really cool to see all of their Florida guests come all the way to Montana to celebrate with them.

The wedding design achieves a western look that's nothing their east coast guests have ever seen before. That means amber vintage glassware. It means pompas grass for their aisle markers in big glass jars. It means a massive lounge area with three couches and two lounge chairs where people could sit and chill. It means local ferns on the dinner plates. It means a cowhide rug for their cermeony. It means a live band. It's just all of these design elements adding up to the perfect guest experience and a gorgeous wedding day.
