We're still gushing over the splendid western wedding of M&D at the Star M Barn. Two-day weddings are all the rage, and for good reason! Their family is gathering from all over the country and M&D wants to give them a bit of a vacation as well. Their wedding weekend kicks off at Stacey’s Old Faithful Bar & Steakhouse (a rustic Montana staple bar) with a lively welcome party, setting the stage for their beautiful Montana celebration. Gathering family and friends from across the country, they turn the first date spot into a fun (and likely a little tipsy) start to the wedding day festivities!

Despite weather worries, the wedding day arrives with clear skies at the historic Star M Barn in Bozeman, Montana. The picturesque white barn serves as a canvas for their dreamy ceremony and reception with the Bridger Mountain range in the back. We elevate the western vibes with gorgeous patterned linens to enhance our floral color palette and really tie it all together. The couple's vision of an expansive, nature-infused celebration came to life with lounge areas, a ceremony amidst nature, and an outdoor bar and catering. Instead of the traditional wedding arch, we change it up with two flower pillars for the ceremony altar with a cowhide rug.

Our couple wants their wedding day to feel like an intimate, small affair, so we get to work to that happen! For their Star M Barn western wedding day, we create a total of three separate western themed lounge areas for their guests to enjoy.

Amanda Jewel Floral Design transforms the venue with vibrant blooms and trees as table arrangements. Yes, you heard that right! Actually TREES. The guests walk into the reception and … mind BLOWN! Twinkle lights create a magical atmosphere in the reception hall, leaving guests spellbound.

M&D embrace the Montana way by extending the cocktail hour and kicking it off with a champagne tower pour and champagne pop! This special little moment is a Wild Montana Wedding signature feature because we believe in the FUN of wedding days! The cocktail hour features a stunning grazing spread from Ranchmade Charcuterie. The bar, a converted horse trailer, adds a unique touch. Dinner by Follow Yer Nose BBQ showcase authentic Montana flavors, embodying the spirit of the wild Wild West.

Another special touch to this day is our couple cutting and serving their wedding cake. They talk to each of their wedding guests as they go through the line to get a piece of cake. How adorable is this?! Capture Now Studios captures all of the must-have wedding photos flawlessly!

As the wedding day cruises along into dancing, Bluebelly Junction fills the air with country tunes and 80’s covers ensuring everyone dances the night away. The night concludes with LED blown-up balloons, a surprise exit to send the couple away in style.
